Book List

January 31, 2013

Thought I’d keep a running list of what I’ve read each month like Tracy does.  It will motivate me to keep reading.

January:

  1. Redemption, Karen Kingsbury
  2. The Plan, Lyn-Genet Recitas {interesting read on how some healthy foods may be making you fat.  I’m going to reread it.}
  3. Redeemed, Karen Kingsbury
  4. Return, Karen Kingsbury
  5. Home School Radio Shows {quick read that I got free}
  6. Praying Circles Around Your Children, Mark Batterson
  7. Rejoice, Karen Kingsbury
  8. Reunion, Karen Kingsbury
  9. A Study in Scarlet {Sherlock Holmes novel}
  10. Fame, Kingsbury
  11. Forgiven, Kingsbury

Love the Redemption Series by Kingsbury.  I picked up the first two in the next series on Monday and, well, you can see I couldn’t resist getting right into them.  Tracy, what have you done to me???  I can only get one at a time or my family won’t eat dinner because I get buried in the book.  I’m also a crier, so I can only take so many and I need a break with something else!

The Sherlock book I got free on Kindle {all the books Doyle wrote}.  I was interested after I watched the first episode on Netflix.  Great show and the book was, of course, better.

So have you read anything this month?  Have a book suggestion for me – tell me in the comments!

    I’ve never read Kingsbury, but I’ve heard good things about her. I like books written about the late 1800′s and pioneer days. I’ll have to check out that Sherlock one. I’ve never read the story but I’ve been wanting to try them. :)

    YIIPPEEEE!!! I told you, you would LOVE it! I still haven’t gotten to the last one (Coming Home)….maybe Ill save it and we can read it together….since you are FLYING! ha ha.

    I’m getting ready to start the Sherlock series on Netflix…my parents suggested it. I hated “the Movie” so I am hoping this is better.
