Birthday Gift
I had some birthday money from my parents and an Amazon gift card from a blog I ghost write for monthly waiting for me to use. I went back and forth on what to use it for and finally decided.
I bought a Kindle Fire for myself. I use my daughters as much as she lets me {she reads as much as me so it’s hard to find time}. It came on Monday and I loaded all the books I’ve had on her Kindle along with some of my favorite games.
I just went with the normal Fire, not the new HD one. I’m very happy with my purchase!
Thanks Mom and Dad!

Now Tracy I can really make a reading list! So far this month I’ve read four books… some on the Kindle that were “quick” reads, and then the Kingsbury books that Tracy loves so much!

Yeah! VERY cool! I just looked at those at Best Buy the other day. Nice!
I am sure Miss A. will be happy to not have to share anymore.
P.S. how do you “share” the books on Kindle. I haven’t got that far, but I know you can do it.
The only way to share on Kindles is too use just one account. So Abigail goes through my Amazon account. As long as they are in the “cloud” and you are registered under that person you can share them.
Sadly, the girls are loving my Kindle because it came with “Free Time” which has tons of games and books. Can’t get it on Abigail’s old Kindle. But it will only be here for a month because then you have to pay a subscription fee.
That is great. I have a tablet, and I enjoying reading and listening to books on it. What a sweet present.
Great gift! I am still not used to mine yet!
Wonderful gift for yourself! And – I didn’t know you were writing elsewhere – congrats on that!
Oooh…that IS a great gift! I looove lying in bed at night reading on my Ipad!!
You deserve it…enjoy!!
Oh how fun, congrats on writing elsewhere, how neat. I’ve just started reading for fun on the iPad.
Just in case, Happy Birthday… Great choice for a gift for yourself! I didn’t know they offered audiobooks, I listen to books on my iPhone.
