What’s NOT knitting

June 10, 2010

I don’t know if it’s cause I’m busy shuttling children to sports, or finishing up school, or maybe too much blog reading (na, not that one), but I’ve not been knitting.  I did UNknit one thing (called frogging oddly).  That Peasy sweater that I was almost done with.  I decided I didn’t like the way the arms fit and I was SURE I was going to run out of yarn.  So this is what the sweater looks like now.

Then I have that purse I’ve been knitting for a while to felt.  I’m almost done with it, but haven’t picked it pack up in some time.  I think I only have a few more rows too… go figure.

Then there is my sock monkey.  He is headless and looks a little ashamed, doesn’t he?  He got buried in the bottom of my knitting basket and I forgot about him… poor thing!

The last project floating around here is a market bag.  That one goes to baseball with me cause I can knit it and not think about it too much.  You really can’t knit from a pattern and pay attention to a game.  Doesn’t make you look like a good baseball mom among all those SERIOUS baseball moms….

School ends this week… maybe I’ll start knitting again!

Life is busy, it gets in the way of many of thing we want to do, doesn’t it.

I was thinking about the felt purse I ordered the other day. Was there something else I was supposed to do?

I am so so so impressed that you can knit. I always tell people that I can knit the world’s largest triangle. No matter what I make that’s what it always looks like…either that or your lower intestine.

    BEAUTIFUL SHOTS

I wound a skein into a usable ball of yarn. That has been the extent of my “knitting” for the past couple months, unless you count looking at patterns.

Poor little monkey.. :( Oh well, he will be finished one day. I have had the same thing happen to me with my scrapbooking. I was doing so good until last summer….my blog took over. Now I am SERIOUSLY behind!

Oh no. A sweater that is balls of yarn. A monkey with no head. You’ll eventually get to it. Eventually. :)

At least you have things partially finished! That’s a lot done already – you’ll get it all done in no time!
